Missions & Ministry

Whether you are new in town, have been in the area for years, or are passing through, we are thrilled that you have found us.

In many ways, Sebastian United Methodist Church is like other churches: We know God's boundless love for us in Jesus Christ, and we strive to share that love with the world. What sets us apart is that SUMC is a community in which all individuals are welcome and can live out their baptismal promises in ministry.

Some collect supplies to combat hunger through our local high school; some raise money for international relief efforts. Some participate in prayer groups; some help plan and lead worship. While others organize our Thrift Shop and Boutique in the Bay. And still others bring beautiful music through our chancel choir, handbell choir, and brass ensemble. And always we are seeking to touch the lives of our young adults, youth and children and their families.

We are a community of faith where the diverse gifts of each build the Body of Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit. And what God produces is a vibrant congregation sharing God's love with one another and the world.

As the Pastor, I am blessed to be a part of this ministry whether worshipping, in fellowship, small group prayer or serving in the community.

Please don’t hesitate to email, text or call me if you have questions or want to connect.
